Mr. Dave Prasad Katragadda was born in Chiluvuru village in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Mr. Katragadda Venkata Subbaiah garu father of Mr. Dave Prasad Katragadda rendered many useful services to his village. He started a Higher Elementary School and also laid a bridge over the canal on the west side to the fields. He also built a bridge over the canal, which provided an easy way to the railway station and to the fields on the east.

His brother Mr. Krishna Katragadda is a prominent NRI businessman who shares a similar vision with his brother; he has rendered prominent service to the development of rural India through “Katragadda Charities”.
