Dave Katragadda is involved in many philanthropic and social service activities.

His major achievement includes inviting Bill Clinton to TANA Conference, 2007 in Washington in an effort to motivate the Non Resident Indians to get involved into mainstream U.S politics.

He has a strong love and affection towards his village. He feels that people should love their motherland and village and they should make whatever little effort they can to contribute for the growth of it.

He made a great effort in making government of Andhra Pradesh head by Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to launch Rajiv Internet Village program from his village Chiluvuru in Duggirala mandal of Guntur district, helping farmers use internet to seek advice and help with farming.

At present, Dave Prasad Katragadda is offering services to his village. He has organized a Trust named "Katragadda Charities" and has spent few lakhs of rupees for laying cement roads and also started free medical facility to the villagers.
